Charitable Tax Deduction For Those Who Do
Good
It is better to give than to receive. That saying has always
been true. The feeling of having been able to provide for the
needs of another is enough as payment for the gifts given.

This is probably the principle behind Charitable Tax
Deduction, where the gifts given to charity will come back to
the giver. It may not be the whole amount but it helps
especially during tax season.
When we give we do not always think of what we can get in
return, especially to charity. But if you have given enough, do
you know that you can actually include the amount given to
charity, a portion of it so this amount can be included as an
exemption. So in effect your annual taxes would have reduced
because the taxable portion of your salary is lower because of
the portion (about 10% of the total amount) given to charity.
How about that as a repayment for your good deeds.
However, company owners know this and so this tax exemption
has been abused time and time again. That is why government has
very strict rules about the implementation and inclusion of
what charitable institutions are included in the exemption.
Actually, it is recommended to seek the advice first of an IRS
lawyer before including Charitable Tax Deduction to your income
tax returns.
